Mahmood Qadri

At Truck-N-Learn CDL, our goal is more than preparing students to pass the CDL exam. We are committed to helping our students develop the knowledge, confidence, discipline, and professional skills they need to build a successful career in the transportation industry.
Our founder, Mahmood Qadri, brings more than three decades of military leadership, business ownership, trucking, transportation, and real-world professional experience to Truck-N-Learn.
A Proud Military Career
Mahmood Qadri proudly served 32 years in the United States military, including 6 years in the U.S. Marine Corps and 26 years in the U.S. Army. He retired from the Army as a Master Sergeant (MSG).
Throughout his military career, Mahmood served in a variety of leadership, training, safety, and advisory positions. His experience included serving as a:
These experiences taught Mahmood the importance of discipline, safety, teamwork, communication, accountability, and continuous learning—principles that he brings directly into CDL training.
Mahmood also holds an *Electronic Engineering degree and a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts.
Leadership Beyond the Military
Mahmood has always believed in giving back to his community and developing the next generation of leaders.
He served as Scoutmaster of Troop 114, where he led and managed the Boy Scouts program for many years. He continued serving until his youngest son, Mustafa, achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and went on to attend George Mason University.
His experience working with young people and developing future leaders continues to influence his approach to CDL training.

Real-World Trucking Experience
Mahmood is not simply a CDL instructor who teaches from a textbook—he has spent years working in the transportation industry.
As a long-distance owner-operator and independent truck driver, he transported heavy equipment and dry goods across the country. He later joined Coleman American Worldwide Moving, where he built extensive experience in professional transportation and household-goods moving.
His transportation career provided him with firsthand experience dealing with customers, dispatchers, routes, equipment, safety requirements, schedules, loading and unloading, and the everyday responsibilities of professional drivers.
Mahmood uses these real-world experiences to help students understand what life is actually like behind the wheel—not just how to pass a road test.
Experience in Real Estate and Investing
Mahmood has also owned and operated a real estate company in Raleigh, North Carolina, and has invested in residential and commercial rental properties in several states.
During his military career, Mahmood purchased properties in communities where he was stationed. When military assignments required him to relocate, he often converted those properties into rental investments.
This experience has given him an understanding of personal finance, entrepreneurship, property management, investing, and building additional sources of income.
